Privacy, in plain language

This policy explains what personal information the Air Rights website collects, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it short and readable.
Who we are
Air Rights is a studio in Brooklyn, New York that designs and builds business systems. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Air Rights (TIME TO GET I LLC, operating as Air Rights, 7124 5th Ave #2R, Brooklyn, NY 11209). The policy covers this website only. Work we do for clients is covered by our agreements with them.
What we collect, and why
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, your email address, your message and anything else you choose to type. We use it only to read and answer your message. The form is sent to our own mailbox through Microsoft 365 (opens in a new tab), which hosts our email. The form never sends you an automatic reply.
When you book a call, we collect your name, your email address, your time zone, the time you choose and what you tell us you are stuck on. We check our Microsoft 365 calendar for open times, create a calendar event and send you a meeting invitation from our own mailbox. We also email ourselves a note of the booking with what you told us. We do not use a third-party booking service. The invitation carries a link to our Zoom meeting room, and the meeting itself takes place on Zoom under Zoom's own privacy statement (opens in a new tab).
When you request a live demo, we collect your name, your work email address, your company or firm, your website or LinkedIn link, your role and what you tell us about your business needs. The request is sent to our own mailbox through Microsoft 365, and we use it only to review your request and reply to you, for example with a login to our sample system. Along with your request we also keep, in the same mailbox, the country your connection points to (worked out from your IP address by our hosting provider) and the time you sent it. We never visit or fetch the link you give us automatically; we only read it. The form never sends you an automatic reply.
To stop the forms being misused, we limit how many requests one connection can send. This is a best-effort protection: to do it we briefly process your IP address, and we keep it only as a one-way hash, for no more than 24 hours, held for us by Upstash, a database service.
When you browse the site, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and how people move between them. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information about your device and your use of the site, such as your browser, device type, approximate location, pages viewed and time spent. We look at this in aggregate; we do not use it to identify you.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not build advertising profiles about you.
- We do not share your information with anyone except the service providers named in this policy, who help us run the site, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages and demo requests for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a reasonable record of our correspondence. Booking details stay in our calendar and mailbox as a record of the meeting. Ask us and we will delete your messages, demo requests and booking details, unless we have to keep something by law. Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in our Google Analytics account.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to us at the address below and we will answer within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm it is you before we act on a request.
Depending on where you live, for example in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you may have further rights, such as to know what we collect and how we use it, to ask for deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so clearly on the site.
